Another Round of Financial Assistance for Investment Projects

SIEPA has announced a public call for anotherround of financial assistance for new investment projects in Serbia. Application deadline is March 11, 2010.

State grants are offered for Greenfield and Brownfield projects in all industries, except for trade, tourism, hospitality and agriculture. Eligible companies are those involved in manufacturing activities, internationally marketable services sector, and research and development. For investments in manufacturing activities SIEPA is granting funds from €2,000 to €5,000 per every new employee for investments between €1 million and €3 million, depending on the unemployment rate in the municipality where the investment is made and minimum number of new job positions of 50. For investments in the internationally marketable services sector available funds range from €2,000 to €10,000, provided that the investment amount is above €0.5 million and number of new job positions exceeds 10. Investments in the R&D sector larger than €250,000 would entitle eligible investors for €5,000 to €10,000 per every new employee.
