A large number of sports facilities in Serbia, particularly in Belgrade, provide good quality sports and recreation opportunities for all age groups. Belgrade boasts various indoor and outdoor sport facilities, including those launched in recent years, such as golf, squash, water skiing, and free climbing.
With its 17 sports-recreational centers, 600 sports facilities, and over 1,000 playing courts and grounds, Belgrade represents a sports center of the Balkans. In addition to public facilities, one can use some of Belgrade's exclusive private sports centers, offering various fitness activities, saunas, swimming pools, and many other services. The minimum working hours are from 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm on Saturdays, and from 9am to 6pm on Sundays.

Outside the city, one can enjoy a beautiful countryside and get active in almost all types of sports, be it skiing at Mt. Kopaonik and Mt. Zlatibor, horseback riding at horse farms, like Zobnatica, Karadjordjevo or Ljubicevo, hiking and mountaineering, or log rafting down the Lim and the Uvac River.
