Streit Group is a first rank supplier of automotive components with a total of eight production facilities worldwide. Six of these are in France, one in Slovakia and one is in Serbia. Our clients include multinational brands as PSA Peugeot Citroen, Daimler Chrysler, Valeo, Honeywell, and many more.
In the year 2003 Streit Group was looking for a new production location from where we would supply PSA and Valeo with flywheels and engine supports. PSA Group recommended Serbia, as they already had good experiences with local suppliers.
Our production facility in Serbia first started with 15 employees but at the moment that number is 108, which gives a great picture about the success of our investment. We are especially satisfied with the commitment of our employees and their capability to accept new technologies. Thus, the technologies we employ at our Serbian production site are in deed the latest. We are proud to have all machines that are CNC, one automated production line and we are even planning a robot manipulation unit for the new line we are installing.
For quality we employ ISO 9001 and ISO TS 16949 standards as we are the first rank supplier in the industry with highest demand for quality.
So far we have invested about €4,000,000 and during this year we will invest additional €2,000,000. However, our really large investments to Serbia are yet to come.
