In 2002 Mondi launched a Greenfield investment in central Serbia - the freezing and sorting of red fruit for the European market, mainly raspberries, blackberries and Oblacinska cherries. It was the first foreign investment in the Serbian fruit processing industry. Today, Mondi Serbia's turnover amounts to approximately €4.5 million.
Automotive
Streit Group is a first rank supplier of automotive components with a total of eight production facilities worldwide. Our production facility in Serbia first started with 15 employees but at the moment that number is 108, which gives a great picture about the success of our investment. We are especially satisfied with the commitment of our employees and their capability to accept new technologies.
IT Industry
HDL Design House is privately owned company established in 2001, with a focus on being IP core and verification solutions provider for SoC/ASIC projects in chip design industry. Long customer list includes semiconductor companies from Asia, Europe and USA which are major players in mobile phones market, computers and peripherals, telecommunication, medical equipment, and security markets.
Leather and Footwear
Prada, Gucci, Nero Giardini, Falc, Janet and Janet are some of the famous customers of Progetti from Vladimirci, Serbia. Nowadays, Progetti has 850 employees, mostly women, in cities of Sombor, Sabac, Vladimirci, Belgrade and Vrsac. A 100% of its revenue is achieved by export of products to West European markets.
